In John’s Gospel, Mary Magdalene is at Christ’s tomb on Easter morning and mistakes the Risen Christ for the gardener! In keeping with that delightful symbol here, Christ wears a gardener’s hat and exposes the wounds in his hands which reveal Heavenly Light within.
